This brand new x-ray system is a fully integrated, efficient system taking top quality images and allowing us to x-ray any pet with ease. The floating table makes it easier to position your animal and the integration eliminates any delay in viewing, analysing or sharing radiographic images.
Our brand new ultrasound machine is one of the most useful tools in our belt – allowing us to non-invasively examine all of the abdominal organs in detail. Our vets are all highly skilled, experienced ultrasonographers and can even assess the function of your pet’s heart. Alongside our rare ability to measure NT pro-BNP in house, this will enable us to manage most cases of cardiomyopathy in-house with a less frequent need to refer cases unnecessarily.
We have a close working relationship with Meopham Veterinary Hospital who have an on-site CT scanner. Computer tomography is a more advanced form of imaging and can be used to diagnose conditions that x-rays and ultrasound cannot. If we feel that referral is necessary for a CT we will handle the whole process including arranging payment and reporting results, all you will need to do is transport your pet and we will continue your pet’s care going forwards.
